About PGI GI Alumni
Welcome to PGI GI Alumni. The Department of Gastroenterology at PGIMER Chandigarh traces its beginnings to 1966, with the DM Gastroenterology programme commencing in 1969. Over the decades, the department has developed a distinguished tradition of clinical care, postgraduate education and research, publishing more than 1,000 scientific papers and training more than 150 gastroenterologists who have served at leading institutions in India and abroad.
